Are the Native Host Setup and GUI app the same thing?
No. The Native Host Setup connects the Chrome extension to a local Windows program. The GUI app is the desktop application you open yourself to enter URLs and use conversion, library, and HiBy features.
Is the Chrome extension alone enough?
The Native Host is required to send conversion requests from Chrome to Windows. If you only use the GUI directly, the Chrome extension is not required.
What can I do in the GUI?
Paste YouTube URLs, convert single videos, select playlist tracks, manage the FLAC library, edit tags, filenames and covers, and manage HiBy transfers and files.
Do I have to process the whole playlist?
No. You can preview the list and select only the tracks you want. Tracks already on HiBy can be detected and skipped.
What if HiBy is turned off?
PC saving can finish while the HiBy transfer remains pending. Turn HiBy on later and reopen the GUI to resume pending work.
Where are files saved?
The current FLAC save folder is shown in the GUI settings, and you can open the download folder directly from the app.
Does QueryBot store my data or converted files on its servers?
The product is designed to perform conversion on your PC. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Should navigation show a long loading state?
No. This site uses static HTML/CSS without heavy external frameworks or images, so navigation should be fast. Persistent loading usually points to deployment cache or routing issues.
