The library can display FLAC, MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG, and OPUS files.
FLAC is the primary output format.
The current GUI conversion workflow is centered on FLAC. The library can also display several audio file types.

FLAC is lossless compressed audio. It preserves quality while typically using less space than WAV, and QueryBot stores tags and cover art in the FLAC file.
