1. Scope
This policy applies to querybot.kr, the QueryBot Chrome extension, the Windows Native Host used for Chrome Native Messaging, and the standalone QueryBot Windows GUI application.
2. Information used to provide features
When a user starts a conversion, the product may use the current YouTube page URL, video ID and title, playlist video IDs and titles, and information about the task selected by the user.
3. Purpose of use
This information is used to identify the requested conversion, select playlist items, check local or HiBy duplicates, and save conversion results as local files.
4. Chrome extension and local Windows processing
The Chrome extension may communicate with the Native Host installed on the user's PC through Native Messaging. The standalone GUI lets the user enter a URL directly and starts the local conversion engine. Converted files are designed to be stored on the user's PC.
5. Browser and Windows local storage
Connection state, some user settings, or task state may be stored in browser local storage or Windows application settings. The GUI may keep local task state so interrupted work can be resumed.
6. Sale and unrelated third-party sharing
QueryBot does not sell user data processed by the extension or GUI for advertising, marketing, or credit-evaluation purposes. The product is not designed to provide user data to third parties for purposes unrelated to its core functionality.
7. Website access logs
querybot.kr and its download infrastructure may generate ordinary server logs such as IP address, access time, browser information, and requested URL for security and reliable operation.
8. User choice and removal
Users may stop using the product by removing the Chrome extension or uninstalling the Native Host or GUI app through Windows. Locally created conversion files remain under the user's control.
9. Changes to this policy
If features or policies change, this page will be updated and the effective date will be revised.
